Soquel is a lovely community, located inland of Capitola and well situated between Aptos and Santa Cruz. The town itself has a small town feel, featuring many wonderful antique shops and small businesses. The cute little white church on Soquel Drive was founded in the 1800’s and adds to the town’s undeniable charm. Outdoorsy folks will love the Soquel Hills, which are beautiful and spacious, giving residents the freedom and privacy of living in the country without being too far away from in-town amenities. 

Enjoy breakfast at The Bagelry before heading off for a hike at the Land of the Medicine Buddha. Or take the kids to one of the best parks in the county: Anna Jean Cummings Park (known as “Blue Ball Park” to the locals). Head to Bargetto Winery for some wine tasting and don’t miss the delicious Thai food at Sawasdee. And if you’re looking for a great dive bar, JJ’s Saloon is a local fave.
